NEW FOR OLD – Byron Bay Community Theatre (October 2017)
Linc Furniture was asked to assist the Byron Bay Community Theatre to refurbish the seating on their existing retractable seating platform.
One of the key issues associated with the project was the envelope (150mm) that the chairs had to fold down into in order that the moving platform could retract properly. The restraints of the folding floor system proved to be too much of a hurdle for new seats, there are very few seats available that could work with this particular system, so the decision was made to clean up the existing seats and somehow try and build some badly needed comfort into the seats.
New backrests were supplied with added lumbar support, new foam and upholstery, seats were rebuilt again with new foam and upholstery, combined with new carpet the end result was startling.
